19/06/2002 - Eurodoc encourages European documentary production, development and financing

The deadline for enrolling in Eurodoc Script and Eurodoc Production is 30 June. 2002. Eurodoc was created to encourage European documentary production, development and financing in the world´s audiovisual markets.
Eurodoc Script is aimed at bringing European writer-directors up-to-speed on the latest techniques in documentary making while Eurodoc Production will examine important issues like funding, rights and sales to independent producers, TV programmers and broadcasters specialised in the documentary genre.
A committee of experts will evaluate the submissions to Eurodoc Script from November 2002-February 2003 while a second set of professionals will examine proposals to Eurodoc Production from October 2002 to January 2003. A final meeting will result in some of these projects going into production.
