The Rendez Vous du Cinéma

by

The showcase for French films as yet unreleased in Italy is continuing in Rome. The review is called Rendez Vous du Cinéma and is organised by Fandango in collaboration with the French Embassy in Italy, the BCLA cultural office, Acid and the Gan Foundation for Cinema. One Thursday every month there’s a presentation of French films, shown at the Politecnico Fandango cinema, in their original language with subtitles.
The film being shown tonight is Wesh Wesh, What’s Happening? by Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche, a first work that has won a series of awards, from the Delluc Prize to the Forum Prize at the 2002 Berlinale. The screening times at the Politecnico are at 18.30 (v.o.), 20.30, 22.30 (v.o. with subtitles). The director will be present at the event.
