21 films on the Croisette supported by the CNC

Six features chosen for the Official Competition, four out of competition, two in Un Certain Regard, six in the Director’s Fortnight and three in the international Critic’s Week: in total 21 films on show at the 58th Cannes Film Festival (11-22 May) have benefited from financial production backing awarded by the National Centre for Cinematography (CNC). The combined total includes various forms of aid, reinforcing, according to the CNC, “France’s commitment to cultural diversity and its openness towards World Cinema”.
