02/07/2002 - France´s LVT acquires new High Definition digital subtitling system

LVT France´s pre-eminent post-production company specialised in the subtitling sector has acquired a groundbreaking high definition (HD) subtitling system for films projected using digital technology that will be of great benefit to distributors throughout Europe and beyond. LVT bought Pixel Power´s Clarity 2HD for €150,000 and the first film to have benefited from the process was Alexander Sokurov´s Russian Ark, screened at the last Cannes Film Festival.
