The arrival of Autumn has brought fresh colour to French production which has retaken command of the local box-office after a summer dominated by American films. Distributed by SND with a total of 496 prints, the comedy Il ne faut jurer de rien by Eric Civanyan interpreted by the duo Gérard Jugnot (Les Choristes [+see also:

film profile]) - Jean Dujardin (Brice de Nice) goes top after an opening week of 425 000 admissions. In third place is another new French film, Les âmes grises [+see also:

film profile] from Yves Angelo which accumulated almost 220 000 spectators in seven days (Mars Distribution ). And just behind comes Entre ses mains [+see also:

film profile] by Anne Fontaine, helped by its star Benoît Poelvoorde - Isabelle Carré with 318 000 admissions in two weeks in the theatres from a total number of prints increased by Pathé Distribution from 159 to 197.
