Virginie Ledoyen VIP in Dublin

The acclaimed French actress Virginie Ledoyen will be the guest of honour of the 6th Martell French Film Festival at Dublin’s Irish Film Institute which opens tonight with Olivier Marchal’s 36 Quai des orfèvres [+see also:

and ends on December 1rst with Danis Tanovic’s L’enfer starring Emmanuelle Béart and Karin Viard.
Virginie Ledoyen will attend the screening of her latest feature Saint Ange by Pascal Laugier on November 23rd which will be followed by a Q&A. Other special guests attending the ten-day event include Bertrand Tavernier who will present his film Holy Lola with music composer Henri Taxier, Anne Fontaine for her film Entre ses mains [+see also:

on November 27th, a panel discussion about French cinema and ‘Francophonie’ will be hosted by French ambassador in Ireland Frédéric Grasset, director Bertrand Tavernier and journalist at the Irish Times Lara Marlowe. A heated discussion ahead….
