Finally, Lumière brings to the screens a local production: the not so ordinary Ordinary Man by Vincent Lannoo. Following Strass, this second feature lightly mixes the influences of gore thrillers with the off-the-wall comedy of the Coen Brothers and tells the story of a sequestration that turns to romance. Produced by Helicotronc and sold abroad by Funny Balloons, Ordinary Man won the Public prize at the European Film Festival in Brussels, a prize which always suggests a good future.
