FESTIVALS Belgium

European talent on its way to Brussels

by

From June 30-July 8, the Brussels European Film Festival will once more open its doors to a new adventure. The FFFB has set up a European writing competition for feature film concepts to encourage young filmmakers to develop their screenplays. The competition is open to directors and screenwriters from 25 European countries and two winners will receive grants to further develop their story ideas.

Taken up again in 2003 by Dominique Janne (K2 Productions), and programmed by Jan De Clercq (Lumière Distributie), the festival concentrates on a selection of young European cinema and offers an opportunity to discover first and second European films.
