by Rachid Bouchareb (see Focus), two other Belgian films hit cinemas this week.

Taking screens by storm will be Storm Force 10 by Hans Herbots (see news), opening in 31 cinemas through Kinepolis Film Distribution in Flanders and Brussels.

Produced by MMG Film & TV Production, starring several well known Flemish actors and based on a successful TV series, this action film bears all the hallmarks of success required to make it big at the box office.

Meanwhile, Belga Film are releasing another local production, the comedy Like Everybody [+see also:

, directed by Belgian helmer Pierre-Paul Renders and produced by Entre Chien et Loup together with Rezo Production, also the film’s distributor in France.

After Thomas in Love, Renders’ debut feature about a young man who finds online romance, this comedy is an attack on television. Starring a talented French cast (Gilbert Melki, Thierry Lhermitte, Chantal Lauby), the film is being sold internationally by Fortissimo Film Sales.

Staying with all things French, Les Films de L'Elysée are releasing Manuel Pradal’s A Crime [+see also:

, which was shot entirely in New York but produced by ARP Sélection. The film brings together two big actors, France’s Emmanuel Béart and US star Harvey Keitel, for a story of passion and obsession (see news).
