The first example of Italian product placement set in a historical context (the 1800s) was created by the Camelot agency, following a deal with the Cattleya production company, Medusa Film and the Neapolitan pasta shop, which has been in the annals of pasta history since the late 1700’s.

The film, directed by Paolo Virzì and starring Monica Bellucci, Daniel Auteuil and Elio Germano, will screen at the RomeFilmFest on Saturday, October 14.

The Camelot agency had already placed Pasta Garofalo in another film, The Bodyguard’s Cure by Carlo A. Sigon.
