Films against violence against women

Sofia will host a film festival this week (November 24-26) on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (November 25).

Animus Association, Sofia Film Fest, British Council Bulgaria, the US Department of Justice, the Swedish Embassy, the French Institute of Sofia and UBFM’s House of Cinema are among the organisers of the free event that will screen films dealing with abuse and slavery, including Lilja 4-Ever [+see also:
