Three weeks after its Berlin screening, Olivier Dahan’s La Vie en Rose [+see also:

will open the 12th Rendez-Vous With French Cinema Today at New York’s Alice Tully Hall on Wednesday, in the presence of the director and lead actress Marion Cotillard.

The Unifrance event, which is being held until March in three cinemas in the Big Apple, will host the US premiere of 16 French features.

In 2006, the US market accounted for €75m in box office revenue and 14m admissions, representing a quarter of international revenue for French films.
