Humphrey appointed CEO of The Works
Effective immediately, Norman Humphrey, former group finance director of The Works Media Group, has been appointed CEO of the London-based company, which runs Works UK Distribution and sales arm The Works International.
Humphrey has been a member of the board of The Works since 2000 and is replacing Chris Auty, who will continue to work as a consultant.
"The Board would like to express its thanks to Chris for his outstanding contribution over the years and wish him well in his future endeavours," said Crispin Barker, chairman of The Works. "Going forward, I am very pleased that Norman Humphrey, who has been of great value to The Works over the last six years, has accepted the role of chief executive officer and will lead the company through the next phase of its development. We believe The Works now has a strong platform for growth and the correct strategy to take advantage of business opportunities in the film industry for the benefit of its shareholders."
