The initiative aims to look beyond just the contamination and experimentation of current Italian and international trends, to question future developments (and contradictions) of a technology of infinite artistic possibilities.

This year’s special guests will be Abel Ferrara – who will speak on his new film, Go Go Tales (shot between New York and the Cinecittà Studios) – and the Italian 2007 nominees for the make-up on Apocalypto, Aldo Signoretti and Vittorio Sodano, who will illustrate their craft to n[ever]land audiences.

The abundant calendar of events also includes the world premiere of Stefano Scialotti’s documentary Bailo de toda la vita - Maria Pages, biografia de una bailaora, a fascinating tribute to the great Flamenco dancer, and a 30-minute preview of ZERO, Inchiesta sull'11 settembre by Giulietto Chiesa and Franco Fracassi, who will discuss their film with audiences.
