19/07/2002 - English national footballer, David Beckham, who is already a pop idol in Great Britain, will star in a new gangster film, Red Light Runners

Beckham will play an assassin endowed with extrasensory powers, which he uses to develop the ability to control the trajectory of his bullets--despite having a bad eye. The film will be produced by Clark Westerman and the soundtrack is to be performed by ex-Spice Girl, Victoria, who is now married to the soccer star. It will have a first-rate cast: Micheal Madsen and Martin Kemp will be among the main characters, and Harvey Keitel and Dennis Hopper have agreed to cameo roles. Westerman has specified that Beckam's role is central to the story, though his appearance in the film is rather brief.
