, which was lauded at the Sundance Festival, has exceeded the 1m admissions mark.

This film transposes into a German setting the revealing educational experiment carried out in California in the 1960s by a teacher (played here by Jürgen Vogel) who managed to transform his pupils into a fascist faction without them realising.

The Wave was produced by Rat Pack Filmproduktion and is being distributed by Constantin.
