Bavaria supports Cinema
- The Bavarian Fund will finance 36 audio-visual projects this year to the tune of €7 millions
The Film and Television Fonds of Bavaria finances this year 36 film projects with more than 7 Mil.€. Among others, the first long feature film of Florian Gallenberger, who won the Oscar this year for his short film Quiero ser. His new project Schatten der Zeit, a story about the coming of age of a young boy, will receive 1Mil. €. Filming will begin next year in Calcutta in English.
Cinema projects will receive a total amount of 3.100.100 €, whereas TV movies will be supported with 2.350.000 €. 13 productions of young people will receive 685.000€ and six script projects will be funded with 140.000€. The distribution of six films will be supported with 698.000€ and 30.000€ will aid the developing of a football - comedy project.
