Three Swiss films get export grants

Three export grants have been awarded to foreign distributors of Swiss features. Apex Entertainment Co. have received €5,000 for the release of That Day [+see also:

in South Korea. The film by Jacob Berger will be launched this month.

Cinéma Public Films have been allocated €10,000 for the release of Rollando Colla’s L’autre moitié (“The Other Half”). The film will hit French screens in September.

will be released in the US in September by Film Movement, who have also obtained €10,000 in funding.

The distribution support programme – launched by the Swiss Federal Office for Culture (OFC) and managed by the national promotion agency Swiss Films – has an annual sum of €181,300 (maximum of €25,000 per film and per territory) granted in priority to distributors from countries that are members of the Media programme.
