by

Under the aegis of distributor/exhibitor Kim Foss, the historical Grand teatret in Copenhagen is hosting a ‘French Film Mondays’ programme until December 8 and a ‘Portuguese Film Days’ between October 20-22.

A true institution for Copenhagen’s cultural scene, the Grand old Cinema has been generously lending its prestigious art nouveau hall to European films since the 1970s, and remains the supreme place to view quality arthouse films. “The Grand is the main platform for ‘difficult films and upmarket films of a certain quality,” reminds managing director Foss.
