The film, co-written by Campogiani and Giovanni De Feo and produced by Toma Cinematografica with RAI Cinema, is the story of two very different policeman who must watch an Arab accused of terrorism. Over time, a bond grows between the three, almost a friendship, but a shadow of doubt clouds their relationship. After numerous plot twists in both Italy and Tunisia, the three come to realise that a simple search for truth and mutual understanding will lead only to ambiguity and suspicion.
