09/10/2002 - Alberto Sciamma & James Caan shiver in Canada while Blethyn & Molina bury bodies in Wales

Italo-Iberian director Alberto Sciamma (The Killer Tongue) has just started filming Jericho Mansions, a noir thriller about the mysterious death of one of the residents of an apartment block called Jericho Mansions, on location in Canada. This UK/Canadian co-production by The Spice Factory, Snowfall Films and Les Films Kalagou stars James Caan and Jennifer Tilly, with London-based Vine International Pictures handling the international sales.
Vine International will be at the next MIFED negotiating pre-sales deals both for this film and another Spice Factory/Snowfall Films co-production, a romantic comedy entitled Plots with a View by Nick Hurran. Set in Wales, it is the hilarious story of two rival funeral homes, and stars Brenda Blethyn (Secrets and Lies), Alfred Molina (Chocolat) and Christopher Walken. Plots with a View will premiere at MIFED.
