A regional Sofica
The General Council of the Charente –Marittime Region of France has decided to set up France’s first regional film and audiovisual industry funding company - SOFICA, created with public money. Sofica Regional's role will consist in collecting money from private investors (who will be encouraged to invest in these industries by means of tax breaks) and state run organisations.
