Villa Des Roses delights British

After having won the best feature award at the 6th edition of the Hollywood Film Festival, Villa des Roses by Frank van Passel’s was released in the UK to a resounding popular success. It reported the best opening for an arthouse film for the week that began on 11 October.
The European co-production by Belgium’s Favourite Films, the UK’s Dan Films, Luxembourg’s Samsa Films and the Netherlands’ Isabella Films is a love story set in Paris before the start of the First World War.
Distributed by Miracom, Villa des Roses is the first major hit for Kim Leggatt and Doug Miller’s Electric Dog & Bear production and distribution company, founded in 2000.
Electric Dog & Bear will present Villa des roses at the forthcoming MIFED.
