ficha de la película] by Maren Ade at the Cannes Film Festival, German world sales agent The Match Factory is receiving a lot of offers from buyers from myriad different countries around the world. Among the first distributors to have snapped up the compelling comedy is Sony Pictures Classics, a renowned US firm that has acquired the rights for North America and Latin America. 

The huge success of the 162-minute film by writer-director Ade has come as a real surprise, especially as German films have not taken part in the Cannes competition for the last eight years.
