Written by the director along with Elias Belkeddar, the plot is aninverted narrative of a young man's transition to adulthood, resulting in the collapse of his success. Adrien, an actor in his twenties, enjoyed fame, work and money before maturing into an adult. However, everything ground to a halt a long time ago and things are slowly going wrong. When overdue taxes catch up with him, he is forced to move back in with his parents, before falling in love with a very young girl despite no longer being able get it up.

Selected for the Next Step 2016 programme in the Cannes Critics' Week, the project wasdescribed as "an existential comedy, a drama that injects humor into characters that are mediocre and endearing," "a willingness to approach manhood, a nostalgia for childhood and disapproval with great compassion."

Produced by Mourad BelkeddarNicolas Lhermitte, Charles-Marie Anthonioz, Jean Duhamel and Elias Belkeddar for Iconoclast FilmsMes jours de gloire has received an advance on earnings from the CNC and was pre-purchased by Canal+. Filming will take place until the end of April in Paris and the surrounding area.
