“I want this David Award to represent the diversity of Italian cinema as a whole.” It was with these words that the newly-appointed president of the David di Donatello Awards, Piera Detassis, introduced the announcement for Best Film yesterday evening at the 62nd annual Italian film awards, held in Rome. Love and Bullets [+lee también:

 is definitely “diverse,” the Neapolitan musical by the Manetti Bros screened in competition at last year’s Venice Film Festival – won five David Awards in total. As well as the prestigious Best Film Award, the title also scooped the Awards for Best Supporting Actress for Claudia Gerini (who has won her first David Award after six nominations), Best Sound for Pivio & Aldo De Scalzi, Best Original Song and Best Costume Design (a tie with Riccardo va all’inferno [+lee también:
