Il London Critics’ Circle ha annunciato le nomination ai 31mi Film Award, guidate da due film inglesi: Il discorso del Re di Tom Hooper e Another Year di Mike Leigh, in sette categorie ciascuna. Il debutto di Clio Barnard, The Arbor segue con quattro nomination.

La consegna dei premi si terrà al BFI Southbank il 10 febbraio 2011. Circle London è composto da 120 membri fra critici, scrittori e giornalisti televisivi inglesi. Il Presidente del Circle, Jason Solomons, ha dichiarato: “I critici sono colpiti dalla varietà e dall’eccellenza dei candidati di quest’anno, da nomi noti in forma smagliante, come Mike Leigh, ad eccezionali debutti come The Arbor di Clio Barnard”.
