John Rabe scoops Golden Lola

On Friday evening, Berlin’s Radio Tower hosted the Lola German Film Awards ceremony. The prizes – worth a total of €2,845,000 – were rather evenly distributed among the different nominees.

, about "China’s Schindler", was nominated in seven categories. It picked up the Golden Lola for Best Film as well as Best Actor (Ulrich Tukur), Best Production Design and Best Costume Design.

The Silver Lola for Best Film went to Oscar-winning director Caroline Link’s outstanding A Year Ago In Winter [+see also:
