Tax shelter implemented with notification to EU

Minister of Culture Sandro Bondi announced that the General Direction for Cinema has formally notified the European Union that it will implement measures granting fiscal incentives to film production and distribution companies – through a tax shelter and tax credit.
"I entrusted the functionaries of my ministry to follow the proceedings with the utmost attention in order to accelerate final approval of the measures,” said Bondi “This is now possible with the formal notification of the EU”.
"I’m extremely satisfied,” added Bondi, “because these measures are fundamentally important to the growth of our film industry and also because this particularly good news comes on the eve of the 65th Venice Film Festival".
