Madrid.1953. Young orphan Gilda - a police informer and an ultra-catholic Brotherhood militant - struggles to get her precious Radio Union Card, to make a living as a radio speaker. Nevertheless her imprisoned republican aunt’s suicide jeopardizes her plans. The manipulation of that death, and her discovery of the Brotherhood secret activities impel her to have greater intimacy with Estanis, a psychiatrist opponent to the dictatorship. Gilda wants to engage with Estanis, but her boss Cisco is the one willing to help her.
