Jessica Woodworth • Director, The Fifth Season

Since it was discovered in the Official Competition at the last Venice Film Festival, Jessica Woodworth and Peter Brosens' The Fifth Season has been touring international film festivals. At the fourth edition of the Les Arcs European Film Festival, this Belgium-France-Netherlands co-production won Best Female Newcomer for young actress Aurélia Poirier and Best Cinematography for Hans Bruch Jr., as well as the Cineuropa Prize. Cineuropa met co-director Jessica Woodworth.
