It is autumn and getting cold in Switzerland. Suddenly, an inexplicable and threatening cloud appears over the country. Its origin is a mystery to the experts. They merely realize that it keeps growing and that it is only a matter of time before it will break. There is no wind yet outside, but the cloud is hanging over Switzerland like a sword of Damocles. The people react to the impending storm in various ways: some ignore it, others barricade themselves in, still others celebrate the end of the world. But the storm has a unifying element to it: it reveals the true needs, fears and hopes of the people.
