Born in Budapest, Eszter Ónodi graduated from the Hungarian University of Drama, Film and Television, where she prepared for many of her subsequent roles in classical theatre.
In the interview the actress talks about the condition for actors in Hungary. She explains in fact how young actors are usually contracted to theatres, becoming members of these different theatres with which they are involved during the year. This is why they can dedicate themselves to cinema only when the season is over, and this is also why she is so proud for having been able to participate in 10 productions such as A Kind of America directed by Gábor Herendi and Happy Birthday! by Csaba Fazekas.
