Cineuropa met the European Parliament Lux Prize jury who gathered in march 2010 and will choose the 3 movies which will be presented to the 736 members of the European Parliament next October. Bertrand Peltier (in charge of the Lux Prize), Paulo Branco (producer), Marion Döring (head of the European Film Awards), Roberto Olla (CEO of Eurimages), Mira Staleva (Deputy director of Sofia IFF and Head of Sofia Meetings), Catherine Buresi (Deputy Director of the Berlinale’s European Film Market (EFM)), Nick James (editor of Sight and Sound) and Yvon Thiec (General delegate of Eurocinema) talk about the importance of the Lux Prize and the need for the European Institutions to act in favour of culture and cinema.
