Italian Screens/De Rome à Paris – Rencontres du Cinéma Italien returns
- The co-production meetings led by the CNC and the Italian Ministry of Culture will take place on 23 January, showcasing eight Italian projects and a further nine in the Work in Progress section

film profile], attended by Valeria Bruni Tedeschi and Galatea Bellugi, will take place on the evening of Thursday 22 January in Publicis Cinémas on the Champs-Élysées, as a curtain-raiser for the new edition of Italian Screens / De Rome à Paris – Rencontres du Cinéma Italien, the film meetings organised by the CNC and the Italian Ministry of Culture to foster closer ties and collaboration between French and Italian professionals in the field of organic co-productions.
The following day will see meetings held in the CNC headquarters, where selected Italian producers will present their projects to French professionals. In 2025, five of the ten showcased projects secured a French co-producer, demonstrating the effectiveness of the initiative.
This year, the Work in Progress line-up consists of nine titles, including new titles by Susanna Nicchiarelli (triumphant in Venice’s Orizzonti section via Nico, 1988 [+see also:
