Series Lab Hamburg heads to Lake Como for this year’s edition

The new edition of Series Lab Hamburg will unfold on Lake Como from 20 October, bringing together 21 European project teams developing drama series. Organised by Creative Europe Desk Hamburg, Media Desk Suisse and Creative Europe Desk Italy, the event aims to foster cross-border collaboration in European television production.

Amid a changing market in which series production has dropped by nearly one-quarter since 2022, the Lab highlights the growing importance of European co-productions, especially those involving public broadcasters. The projects selected span genres from thriller and mystery to social drama and comedy.
