However, the survey headed from Kurt Salmon shows us the more and more significant fusion of culture and economy, underlining also the importance of cultural and creative industries, which represent an ever-growing proportion of the gross domestic product in the whole world. The results of the survey confirm that the role of cultural investment has gained importance in the last years, for its weight in the economy and for its positive effects on the territories, as well as for its social cohesion.
