Birthplace of democracy and cradle of Western civilization, with the iconic Acropolis as its landmark, Athens dominates Attica region. Combined with the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio and Elefsina standing for Lebanon, Athens and its surroundings offered a canvas of unique resonance to director Park Chan-wook for the TV mini series The Little Drummer Girl.
