DIVORCES

by Valérie Guignabodet

synopsis

Valentine and Alex are married; they are both lawyers specialising in family cases. In practising their profession, they defend 21st-century divorce: amicable, with calmness and respect for each other, preferably with alternating custody and a recomposed family, far from the broken vases and awful domestic rows of the previous generation. Until the day when, because of a trivial act of adultery, the couple split up. And the reality of divorce catches up with them: fine words give way to war... This film is part of the Mariages ! / Divorces saga.
