synopsis

A film that explores the lives of women living in an orthodox Jewish community. Rivka is happily married to Meir, but they are under pressure to split due to Rivka's inability to bear children. Meanwhile her sister Malka is in love with a man deemed too secular by the Jewish church. A story of love and religion in a deeply religious, patriarchal community.
