synopsis

The story of eight women who were forced to flee Vienna between 1938 and 39 because of their Jewish origins and who now live in, or near, New York. The documentary attempts to examine what it was like to survive Hitler's regime, and how the memories of that time affect the women's day-to-day life in America.
