synopsis

Piotr and his grandmother Mancika comb the streets of Budapest to restore the library stolen from the family World War II - especially a book called The Silver Crown which is said to restore people to live. Fast forward 15 years: Manicka is dead and Piotr owns a bookshop in Cracow. Then a young Hungarian student called Esther arrives and the miracles begin...
