synopsis

Over the past four decades, more than 250,000 Cubans have risked their lives in the perilous trip across the strait of Florida to reach the coast of Miami, during which the majority have died. Cuba’s controversial leader, Fidel Castro, is victim of an assassination attempt at sea. He alone survives the attack and ironically finds himself shipwrecked in the Florida Keys, like so many Cuban rafters before him…
