synopsis

Stefan and Claudia plan a trip to the coast in their camper van as a last attempt to save their troubled relationship. Along the way, they pick up a hitchhiker, Uli, who also happens to be a professional puppeteer. Uli tries to 'entertain' them, but things take a grim turn when the puppet seems to develop a life of its own.
