synopsis

Hanne entrusts her two children to their father, and her ex-husband, Nizar. He says he wants to take them to Euro Disney in Paris. Instead he takes them to his family home in Syria. From that moment on, Hanne’s heartbreaking struggle begins, and she will fight for over two years to get her children back to Holland. Throughout the ordeal Hanne is continually assailed by doubts about what she should do and the best course of action to take.
