To celebrate La Fête des Voisins (Neighbours’ Day), Pierrot, a young apartment block caretaker, organises a last-minute aperitif party in the courtyard with a buffet, balloons and streamers. The neighbours will thus have a chance to meet in an atmosphere that is more convivial than a lift, stairwell or a stormy co-owners’ meeting.
