Medieval England has fallen under the shadow of the Black Death. In this apocalyptic world filled with fear and superstition, a fearsome knight, and his band of mercenaries seek out a young monk, Osmund, to lead them through the black marshes. Their quest is to hunt down a necromancer, Langiva, rumoured to be able to breathe life into the dead.
