HINTER DIESEN BERGEN

by Michael Krummenacher

synopsis

A hot summer in a Swiss village nestled in the mountains. Unlike her best friend Heidi, Milena did not pass her A-level exams. After her senior-class trip Heidi moves in with Milena, whose parents are away on vacation. With few prospects for the future, Milena pressures Heidi to go with her to look for an apartment in the village for them to share. In order to afford this new independence, Milena takes a job in a shoe warehouse and doesn’t notice that Heidi is beginning to distance herself more and more from her. After their friendship has completely fallen apart, Heidi follows Milena into the mountains.
