WESTERNSTORY

by Vlastimil Peška

synopsis

Set in a Wild West replica town in Boskovice near Brno. Cowboys Johnny, Knedla and Sam periodically chase horses as well as girls from the saloon where they are rehearsing the can-can. Despite the many seemingly intractable problems, the amusement park town's distressed owner, Jerry Walker, and his eternally optimistic director, the beekeeper Trubec, lead this peculiar bunch to a successful premiere. The tourist season in this little Western town is open and the new show's success is a matter or life or death for everyone.
