synopsis
It is a compelling story about the life and contradictory interests of Nynke van Hichtum, who was a famous Dutch writer of children's books. Although a talented woman herself, she wants to be a good wife, mother and political companion. But a strong personality cannot fit in a straitjacket, even one of its own making.
